| Due to Adoption Rhode Island's visibility through the media, we are often the first agency people turn to for answers about all aspects and types of adoption. Adoption Rhode Island fields close to 1000 information and referral calls a year and sends out over 500 information packets annually. On this page, you can download and/or print out some of the information mailed out in our information packet, as well as other resources.

Getting Started: General Information Packet: This resource, made available through the Child Welfare Information Gateway organization is a 27 page booklet explaining the basic steps of the adoption process including the homestudy report.
