Meet Robert! This handsome 14 year old is interesting and sensitive, and wants very much to be adopted. His interests are many and he is equally enthusiastic about them all. He enjoys video games, music, reading, especially books about dragons, computers and playing sports. Robert's favorite activity right now is Karate. He just earned an orange belt, and loves the self-discipline that this has taught him. Robert says he likes to be by himself sometimes. He uses this time to read, do art projects, or to write poetry in his journal. His poetry speaks of his desire for a family, and the challenges of not having a family to share his feelings with. This great boy is described by the professionals who work with him as very helpful, a role model for his peers, someone others look up to, and having a great sense of humor, and a great sense of style. Robert says he is open to any family make-up, and he would love some siblings. He says pets are okay, but not necessary. Robert says when he thinks of being in a family he pictures himself building a tree house with a Dad or a brother. It is something he has always wanted to do. He dreams of family vacations and outings. Robert says what is most important to him is that his forever family is honest and keeps the promises that they make. He hopes they laugh a lot too!!
