Kevin is a charming young man, with a contagious smile, and outgoing personality. He enjoys pizza, Burger King, riding his bike and outdoor activities. Kevin responds well to one on one attention, positive structure, and consistency. Kevin is in the second grade, and receives special education services. He responds well to the special education support services, and small structured classroom setting he is currently in. He is able to complete his academic work most of the time, and benefits from encouragement and support as needed. Kevin has faced some difficult situations early in life, including abuse and several foster home placements. Kevin has worked hard, and persevered, and continues to make progress. He has some emotional and behavioral challenges, and receives medication, individual counseling, and other psychiatric services in a supportive environment to address these issues. Kevin is now ready to start the transition to a permanent home, and is in need of an adoptive family that can give him the attention, love and permanency that he wants and deserves. The right adoptive family will find the rewards of loving and caring for this special young man immeasurable!
