Katiria is a quiet, sweet and captivating fourteen year-old girl. She enjoys hip-hop music, riding bikes, playing flag football and shopping. Like any teenager, Katiria loves to be laughing, talking, eating pepperoni pizza and being silly with her friends. Her favorite colors are blue and red and she loves to wear the newest trends in clothing. Katiria is in the 8th grade and her favorite subject is science. She thinks that it is fun and enjoys working on science projects. Katiria had a teacher that she looked up to last year. His name was Mr. McDonald. She respected him because he would always talk with you about your feelings if you were having a tough day and she liked his sense of humor. When you ask Katiria if she could visit any place on earth, she said,I'd visit Puerto Rico because that is where I was born and I have not been there since I was three years old. Katiria has a very special bond with her foster family and would like to continue contact with them. They have been a constant in her young and challenging life. She also has siblings she visits and would like a family that will help her maintain her sibling bonds.
