Destany March 1995 Sweet, shy, outgoing and having a determined personality are many ways people will describe this charismatic young girl, Destany. She has many interests which mostly include being outside riding her bike, swimming, reading, going to the library and playing basketball. Her favorite basketball player is Kevin Garnett from the Celtics. Pink is Destany's favorite color and as all young girls, she enjoys music and being with her friends. Destany is currently in Middle School and maturing into a beautiful young lady. She has had to face many challenges early on in her young life. Destany has hearing impaired family members and has become proficient in sign language. Destany wishes to be in a family that enjoys sports and being outside. She also hopes that her family will help her to remain in contact with her siblings whom she loves. In Destany's words, "I feel very lonely right now in my life and want to stay in a forever family."  She is a child with a sparkle in her eye and full of energy. She will require a family that can provide structure on a daily basis. Not only is structure something Destany has never had, but consistent love and someone to help her strive to reach her potential.
