David is a handsome sixteen year old who is still hopeful after waiting many years for a family. At his request, David is participating in the Heart Gallery for the third time. When asked about his reason for wanting to do that his answer was quite simple...I really want a family." Those are not easy words for a boy this age, but David has the courage to speak them. David is proud that this message encourages other kids not to give up hope either. David is in the 10th grade and especially fond of his culinary arts classes. He is not sure about his future but may consider being a chef. He is an avid sports fan, playing both football and basketball. This well-rounded teen also enjoys music and art, with a specal interest in drawing. He would like families to know that his personal attributes include a good sense of humor and a kindness toward others. He looks forward to the time when he will be with his own family and able to enjoy "regular teenage stuff." David is a good big brother to his two sisters and will need to keep that connection always. David is hoping for a family that has fun together and is active. He is open to one or two parent families, with or without children. In his own words…”I don’t care what kind of family I have, I just want a family."
