DJ DJ is an enthusiastic, energetic, and charismatic nine-year-old boy who easily engages with everyone he meets. DJ loves to play with his friends at school, and in his current placement. He is kind and generous, and he often takes younger housemates under his wing. DJ has a passion for animals of all kinds, even bugs and reptiles! This strong and naturally athletic boy may be found outside practicing his baseball and football skills, seeing how high he can go on the swing, tending to his garden, or exploring nature. This bright fourth-grader benefits from a specialized school setting. DJ is a great reader, and he loves Math. DJ is quite intelligent, and he can discuss many subjects in great detail. He also has a natural curiosity, and asks many questions. DJ has been in state care for six years, and he is eagerly awaiting his forever family. He would thrive in a two parent family where he could receive a lot of attention. DJ's ideal family would be loving, supportive, understanding, patient, and should help him maintain contact with his grandmother, uncle, and brother.
