Steven and Zachary September 1997 and November 2000 From riding their bikes to tossing a football to just being outside, Steven and his younger brother Zachary cover the gamut of"all boy." This dynamic duo are bonded as they have always been with each other and want to always be together. Steven thrives on playing outdoors and is sports oriented. He also enjoys watching movies, cartoons and playing games. Steven is polite and is eager to please adults. He has always played the role as "big brother" and is protective of his younger brother and will often speak for him. Steven is in the 6th grade and will benefit from having help in some academic areas, primarily in math. Zachary loves to ride his bike and play sports. Like his older brother, he also enjoys watching movies, cartoons and playing video games. Zachary is in the 2nd grade and has made significant gains developmentally. He looks up to his older brother, Steven and will often mimic his actions and behaviors. Steven and Zachary have a loving relationship with an aunt who is very important to them. They hope to continue their relationship with her when they find their forever home. Steven and Zachary are fearful that a family will give up on them. It will be important for their family to be consistent in setting rules and giving them lots of nurturing, provide structure and have the willingness to participate in continued counseling. One thing is for certain...the family that adopts Steven and Zachary will be a family full of love and joy.
