Patrick is a loveable, sensitive, and caring young man. Spend just a few minutes with Patrick and you will find out how compassionate he is. In fact, please read a letter Patrick wrote to reach out to prospective families and introduce himself, 'in his own words'...
"Hi my name is Patrick. This letter is for all parents who are looking to adopt a responsible and great kid who has morals and values. I have a lot of strengths that I have developed over the years. This includes being a great listener; I am good at setting goals and achieving them. I stand about 6'5" and believe it or not I am just learning how to play basketball and I am really enjoying learning this new sport. I am a joy to be around and I am a very happy kid. I really love singing and hope one day to be on American Idol. Even though I have had a rough childhood I am continuing to learn from my past mistakes and move forward to someday attending college and being part of a happy home." As mentioned above, Patrick loves to sing, and hopes to become a professional singer or actor. he describes himself as an outdoors person. He enjoys taking walks outside in the nice weather, as well as swimming and fishing. When he is not outdoors, he enjoys watching his favorite sports teams.
Patrick is most proud of his "ability to cope", and of his friends.
He is looking for a family who he can care for, as well as one that will care for him. When asked why he would like to be adopted he said, "So I can be loved and have the family I never had."
