Marissa Marissa is a quiet and sensitive fifteen year old. Once you get to know her, however, she is dynamic, fun to be with and has a beautiful smile that you see often! She is very athletic, enjoys sports, and plays softball for her community team. Marissa also enjoys drawing, shopping, listening to music and going out to eat. Her favorite is spaghetti with clams and shrimp. Marissa loves animals, and during her Heart Gallery photo shoot, impressed the photographer with her kind and gentle spirit towards the "studio dog." She is currently in the 9th grade and loves Science. Marissa describes herself as being very organized, with both her room and homework in order. Marissa dreams of visiting Disneyland one day. She thinks that she might like to be a police officer when she grows up. Marissa has had to face many challenges in her young life, and has had to face them without the support of a family. She has moved around a lot and longs for the day she can finally be "home." Marissa has three younger brothers who have already been adopted. She visits them often and is more sure than every that she is ready for a "nice family" of her own. |
