James Happy, lovable and charming are all words that are used to describe 8-year-old James. He is active, likes to keep busy, and said to be quite the mover and the groover.  This little guy loves music! Put on some music and he will soon be dancing and quite happy. James has faced many challenges in his young life. He has Cerebral Palsy but because of his determined spirit he is now able to walk independently and climb stairs. He is currently non-verbal, but gets his needs and wishes across quite well to those around him. James will just take your hand and lead you to what he wants! He also uses a picture communication system. James is an intelligent boy who loves school, enjoying all classroom activities. He likes predictability and routine, and does well with a daily schedule. He loves to play, especially with toys that provide light and sound. James is able to follow one-step directions and likes to please others. He sometimes gets frustrated when he is not able to get his needs met. This loving boy has a smile that can brighten anyone's day. James will be a wonderful addition to the special family that can provide the love, patience, support and consistency that will help him reach his full potential.
