Being outdoors is where you will most likely find 11-year old, spunky, spirited and vivacious young girl. You will find her riding bikes, swimming, riding on a scooter or playing soccer. Even if the weather keeps Jaimie indoors, she enjoys reading, watching movies and playing video games. Some of her other favorite things are eating spaghetti and meatballs and Jaimie loves the colors purple, yellow, orange and red.

Math is Jaimie's favorite subject. Her social worker said that Jaimie likes school and tries hard to achieve. Sometimes, it is difficult for Jaimie to concentrate in school because of all the loss she has endured in her life. She is a very creative girl and loves to use her imagination. Jaimie has a passion to help others who are less fortunate than her.


Jaimie has had to grow up quickly and needs to experience life as a young child. When you ask Jaimie about adoption, this is what she'll tell you, "Adoption means to me that I love a family and they love me. I want to be adopted because I love families and I hope to find a very nice family that is not a mean family."

The family who adopts Jaimie will need to be able to provide consistent rules, structure, routines and expectations and be there through her life's ups and downs. She will also do well in a family that is active and involves her in community or after school activities.
