Derek July 1996 If you like to smile and laugh, than Derek is the boy for you! Twelve year old Derek has a great sense of humor and would love a family who can enjoy his entertaining personality. Derek is a smart boy who enjoys doing Suduko puzzles, and reading "big books." Some of his favorite books are from the Harry Potter series. He loves to fish, ride bikes and cook. Derek loves learning and is excited about school where he is in the sixth grade.  Derek would like a family who will keep him safe, he also says he would like a family who is calm and respectful. Derek benefits from nurturing environments where he can have constant reassurance if he needs it. Most of all, Derek would love to have a family who laughs often and has fun with one another. Derek will need to maintain contact with his sibling.
