Brittany October 1995 Hey! My name is Brittany, but I would rather be called Britt, and I am also in search of a new name (something unique). I am fourteen years old and I am currently in 9th grade. I really enjoy school most of the time. I could be doing better and focusing more on the academics instead of my social life, but I think overall I am an average student who just needs to try harder in Algebra 1 and Biology. What I really love about school is being able to go into English, Western Civilization, Chorus, and Business class, and know what I am talking about. I love English because I love to read. I have read tons of books. I have read books that are based on true life experiences with children in the foster care system all the way to the Twilight Novels. I like Western Civilization because my teacher is funny, and history is basically a bunch of drama and old gossip. (Don't tell my teacher I said that!) I love drama. I actually volunteer at the Traveling Theater. I also like Chorus because I enjoy singing. I enjoy it because when you sing you express your emotions, and I am a very emotional person. Obviously I would love Business class because of the fact that I am very good with computer. I also take French but my teacher and I do not get along very well, and I am trying to work on that.  I am a very sociable person once I get to know you. I also try very hard to be different from most kids my age because I don't want to be anybody's clone. I do very well with younger kids and I tend to hang out with people who are older than me because I am very mature for my age most of the time. I warn you though, that at times I tend to be very giggly and laugh a lot. Then there are other times were I just go in my room play my music and read the newest book I bought. I am a very carefree person now that I am older. When growing up I had to be the mother a lot, and didn't get to enjoy much of a childhood, and now I have the opportunity to be the child and have fun, and I am going to try and take advantage of that! When looking for a family I am looking for someone that will give me freedom, and also helps me to control that freedom so I don't misuse it. I would like to have a family that will be there for me when I feel down. Most of all I want a family who accepts me, and wont to try to change the parts I love. I am also looking for a open adoption so I can still continue the positive relationships that I have with my aunt and uncle, cousins, and my grandparents. I also don't mind if you are out of state, and I would like that a lot because I enjoy new experiences and traveling.
