Adopt Hope - Professional Workshop and Discussion Series
Adoption Rhode Island is pleased to present Adopt Hope - a Professional Workshop and Discussion Series. Workshops will be held on four Thursdays from April to October from 11:30 - 1:00pm: 4/29, 6/24, 9/30 and 10/28. 1.5 CEU's will be earned for social workers with advance registration. Teen Connections: My Family, My World, My Self - A Conference for Foster and Adopted Teens and Parents
Join us for a powerful workshop as industry professionals lead us for a day of reflection, introspection and sharing. ACONE-RI and Adoption Rhode Island offering this conference on Saturday, May 22nd from 11:00am-2:30pm, at Adoption Rhode Island. The Adoption and Foster Care Certificate Program
Adoption Rhode Island, DCYF and Rhode Island College which make up the Adoption and Foster Care Educational Collaborative launched THE ADOPTION and FOSTER CARE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM to offer additional training to area professionals. The mission of the program is to build the skills and knowledge of community-based clinicians, social service providers, educators, and people whose lives are touched by adoption. The program promotes a resilience and strengths perspective that enhances and sustains functional family connections. The courses are offered through the Rhode Island School of Social Work Continuing Education Program and are held at the college.
