How Do Your Contributions Help?
Charity Navigator recommends that donors support organizations with administrative costs no higher than 25%. We are proud to report that 89% of funds go directly to serving children and families, while only approximately 11% cover administrative and overhead expenses. Most people likely realize that donations help us continue to provide support services for waiting children and families both pre and post adoption, but following are just some of the other ways your support helps.
Contributions may help us provide children with gifts and a party for birthdays, holidays or just to lift their spirits. They allow us to offer clinical workshops as well as one-on-one counseling to help waiting children maintain a sense of hope and self importance, encourage productive futures, or prepare for adoption. They ensure we can provide a duffel bag of clothes when a child suddenly needs to move from one place to another. They help us offer children a chance to simply be children while enjoying activities perhaps not otherwise available to them; offer events to bring siblings together; help a child attend summer camp . . .
The list goes on, as does the need, and we couldn't do it without you. Thank you!
